Twilight Movie Casting Blunder?

So tonight I logged on to Stephenie Meyer's website to see if they have finished casting. Most of the characters have been cast. I must say that I am woefully disappointed in their choice for Edward! "Devastatingly beautiful" he is not. Rats. Maybe movie magic will help? What does everyone think? Check it out and cast your opinion. www.stepheniemeyer.com.

this is why I am tempted to not even see the movie-It is never as good as what you pictured in your mind. I AM still obsessed though. See my recent post on my blog for proof!

D-Certainly they didn't consult the book's description very thoroughly. I don't even know that I could say that he's mildly good-looking! Do you think our imagination's can re-bound if he tanks the movie?

J-I'm afraid my curiosity will get the better of me and I'll have to see the film even though it may be wretched! I'll check out your blog...

Yeah, I have spent a little time on that sight. I agree with all of my sisters here. I don't see it. In fact, I have had daydreams of seeing someone in around that would be perfect and asking if I could take a picture of him and then emailing Stephenie and then...anyway, I am a mess.

Oh gosh...I am obviously very behind in this Twilight nonsense!! I can't believe I am considering joining the madness...thanks to Candis' persuasiveness.
