Basement Bliss

Its taken almost a year but it is finally near completion. We actually used it and invited friends over to watch the BYU vs. Utah game. We are expecting all to come visit now that we have a little more room.

Maui Baby!

This is the pool/beach at our hotel.
Our stop at Kaeleku state park. There is a really cool black sand beach and great swimming!

Ok, I guess we are limiting ourselves to two posts a year and here is the second installment. Just a few pictures of our trip to Maui. We had a great time and it was nice to relax a little. We did a lot of snorkeling, eating and just kicking back on the beach.

"Green" Landscaping

Once again our little community is doing our best to make Al Gore proud with a zero water consuming lovely tumble weed landscaping. This is looking out over our backyard fence into our neighbors yard just after a very windy day. This was us last year before we got our fence put up.

These are the same angles as the last pictures I posted with just a little more finished. This is moving along a little slower than we hoped never the less it is moving. We all just cant wait for it to be finsihed

Edward Anyone?

So I just watched a great film called The Ultimate Gift. I highly recommend it. Ever since I saw who was cast for Edward I have been sadly mourning their lack of...taste (?) and have been wondering who would be a good fit. Ok--I realize it's a pipe dream but if I could have my druthers--I'm voting for Drew Fuller. He's the star of the Ulimate Gift and, well, just look. Do you see it? Change the hair a bit? I need a hobby, you might say, but cast your vote...

Paper or Plastic?

Ok I am just a little jealous that Candis got a post with 18 comments and counting, So I thought I would throw out there a heated topic of my own.

Paper or plastic at the grocery store?

Do you encourage the destruction of a poor defenseless trees or do your part in putting a whole in the ozone.

Im never sure which one to choose so when the clerk asks me paper or plastic I always say "yes" (to both). I guess it my little way of doing something for the environment.
